From the Edges – Fall Out

Scripture focus – Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV 22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

What kind of fall out are you experiencing this morning? Are you rising with the same problems being the center of your focus or are you willing to see the newness of God in this day. I know that there are things in our life we need to address but the willingness to see Jesus, moving and working brings or should bring a peace to our life.

The hymn Great is Thy Faithfulness begins with the words – “Great is thy Faithfulness O God my Father, there is no shadow in turning from thee, all I have needed thy hands have provided, Great is thy Faithfulness Lord unto me.”

Maybe today we can focus on the blessings, mercy and hope that is given to us and claim it instead of all of the pain, misery and sinfulness that tends to drag us away. Maybe we can experience the goodness of God instead the misery of sin.

Where are you today? Experiencing the fallout of sinfulness or the pouring in of grace and hope. That choice is really yours. We need to move into the receiving all that God wants for us. Praying we all see clearly the steadfast love of God.
