Day 12: Prayer for Faith
Scripture:** Hebrews 11:1
Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
Faith is often described as the anchor for the soul, holding us steady amidst the chaos of life. In an ever-changing world where societal values and morals are constantly shifting, keeping our faith intact can feel like an uphill battle. Yet, this very turbulence makes faith all the more crucial.
Faith isn’t a passive thing; it’s active, alive, and dynamic. It’s what carries us through when the path is unclear and the world feels like it’s coming undone. It’s what keeps us grounded when society’s moral compass is spinning in all directions. Faith isn’t about having all the answers, but about trusting that there is a greater plan, even when we cannot see it.
As we navigate this complex world, faith is our guiding star. It prompts us to act with love, compassion, and integrity, even when these values are in short supply around us. Faith urges us to be the change we wish to see, to hold onto hope when it’s easier to give in to despair.
Let’s reaffirm our faith each day, not just in times of trouble but in moments of joy and peace. Let’s trust that our faith can light the way, even in the darkest of times. Remember that while the world around us may change, the essence of our faith—hope, trust, and assurance—remains steadfast.
Prayer:** God, strengthen my faith. Help me to trust in what I do not see, knowing that You are faithful. May the gift of faith surround me – may faith become more than a fleeting thought but your presence in my life.
