Jesus, Doing It Again

Key Verse: “I will not remember your sins.” (Isaiah 43:25)
This morning – the first praise and worship song I heard was Elevation Worship’s song “Do It Again”. The words from the song “I see you moving mountains”,” you made a way, when there was no way” “And I believe, I’ll see you do it again” resonate with me. That when we are up against the highest mountain or caught in the raging waves of life, that in the midst of the uncertainty, God is still at work.
Holy Week and the days leading up to Easter celebrations are or should be reminder that through grace, mercy and redemption – God, (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) is doing something for us in the present that God has been doing since the beginning of time.
Thursday will serve as a reminder of the invitation to come and receive at the table of the Lord where what is served is good and satisfying for the soul and always will be sustainment for life. Friday will be what our redemption and knowing forgiveness cost and the silence of Saturday is a day of remembrance preparing for what is ahead. God doing what God has always done, and we will see it again, if we look for it, receive it and accept it.
Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross fulfills God’s promise to blot out our sins. His resurrection assures us of redemption and eternal life. Through Him, we are restored to God’s purpose and glory.
Yes, I believe that whatever is happening, has happened, and will be fulfilled through a focus on what God has done and is doing right now. Take some time to find forgiveness for your sins, experience redemption, and be ready to move out of the angry waves of discontent into best life possible that is offered to each and every one of us.
