Turning the Corner Through the Holy Spirit

Acts 1:8_“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.”
I believe we get caught up in the words wait!
Jesus didn’t just tell His disciples to wait—He promised them power. The Holy Spirit wasn’t given as just a comforting presence, but as the strength to step forward.
When we feel weak, uncertain, or discouraged, we can turn the corner by leaning on the Spirit’s power rather than our own. The Holy Spirit will give wisdom when we lack understanding, boldness when we feel timid, and peace when we feel unsettled.
Are you trying to move forward in your own strength? Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you today. And remember it is for God’s purpose and glory!
Prayer: Holy Spirit, fill me with Your power. Help me to walk boldly in faith, knowing that I am never alone. Amen.
