They Had Been with Jesus
Acts 4:13 – Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.
Last night was a night that I will not soon forget. Some people close to me, showed great concern and took me away for a few hours. It was a Holy time, it wasn’t just another meeting, it was the truest way that Acts 2:42 was lived out including, teaching and learning from each other, holy fellowship, the breaking of bread sharing a meal together, and prayer.
It was a step-aside moment that paused the clock and removed the distractions of the world. It was a great reminder that to experience the love God, to know the presence of Jesus, and to sit or in this case have a couple hours of centering prayers. The world was completely shut off it was respite for life.
Now the question arises how much genuine time are we spending with Jesus. Whether it is alone or with others. And after spending time with Jesus do we go back into the world the same or can Jesus be seen in us. This is regardless of who we are or where we have been. It is a configured change that must be noted. That being in the presence of God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit changes us or should and it should be noticed.
Today I’m praying over my own life, my marriage, my businesses, my family, my friends, those who I experience an agape love with. I’m praying that through the Holy Spirit I am different changed and always aware that its not my agenda, my desires, or my way, it is Gods.
It will come to pass because I have been given all authority to be a witness (Acts 1:8) now may it be claimed in all our lives !
