When Feelings Fade – Thoughts on Following Jesus From the Edges –

Persevering is continuing when everything else except the Holy Spirit says keep going, keep doing, keep faithful.

I have been led to a place mainly through my own situations that is keeping me from experiencing all that God wants to do in my life. It is a situation we all face every day.

Sometimes it is caused by our own complacency, sometimes by another with seasoning of negativity, frustration, and not have a faith that can move mountains.

This past weekend our preaching team preached on Perserverence. I asked to consider 10 one liners into our thoughts, devotions, and prayers for the day. Today’s one liner is 1 – “Perseverance is faithfulness when feelings fade.”

As we persevere today may we never forget those God moments and allow that presence to guide us as we strive to remain faithful.
