The Power to Say No

Read Ephesians 2: 1-8

We were once dead in sins and under wrath, but God’s mercy and great love made believers of us alive with Christ. Salvation is entirely a free gift from God; by grace through faith; not earned by works, ensuring no one can boast.

It doesn’t matter how much good you do or give, it won’t grant you eternal life. Only by faith in God and asking forgiveness and accepting Christ as your personal savior will you be assured of your salvation and eternal life.

One of the things floating around verse 2 talks about the prince of the air (Satan).

Prayer: Refer to 1 John 4:4
Believe that greater is He (Jesus) who is in you than he (satan) who is in the air.
We have the power to tell satan to “back off Jack.” That is our blessed assurance, Amen.
